Who I am
First and foremost, I’m an enthusiastic animal lover and the proud mommy of two feline girls. But if you’re here, you’re probably more interested in knowing who I am professionally, so here you go. I’m a freelance print and web designer residing in the Washington, D.C. metro area. I’ve been working professionally in the design field since 2008 with successful side gigs as a writer, editor, and photographer. I hold a degree in Graphic Design (print) and one in Interactive Design from Northern Virginia Community College, Alexandria campus, as well as a degree in Translation from Milan, Italy. My design style is clean, modern, fresh, elegant and sophisticated with a lot of white/negative space, splashes of color and just the right amount of whimsy when appropriate. My goal is to make a difference in the world (or at least try!) through compelling work raising awareness on social justice, human and civil rights, animal welfare, environmental issues or promoting the arts and education.
